OBJECTIVES
For students:
Providing the best in education, affordable yet not compromising on quality, is our aim. Our noble intention is to produce graduates who:
- Have sufficient knowledge in their chosen field so that they will be able to complete tasks given in the working world;
- Possess dynamism, confidence and professionalism that will help them move comfortably in the working environment;
- Possess analytical thinking skills, able to recognize and solve problems, communicate well with clients, superiors, colleagues and subordinates, and proficient in various support skills that will aid them in their daily responsibilities; and
- Understand that education does not end with graduation, and that it’s a life-long process.
For faculty members:
Providing support, training and career development opportunities to faculty members who:
- Are learned and knowledgeable in their fields of expertise as well as subjects that they are lecturing in;
- Are able to impart knowledge and skills clearly and fluently with the students;
- Able to use their understanding of learning and teaching skills creatively and innovatively towards the positive development of the students;
- Provide exemplary qualities that students can emulate; and
- Inspire students with love of knowledge, creativity, innovation, analytical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to use them to their best advantage in the real world.
For community:
Continuously practice the belief that we should contribute to our community – people, families and organizations around us – by doing what we do best:
- Organize forums, talks and seminars, as well as publish periodicals that discuss current issues and topics;
- Become a “community learning centre” by welcoming people from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds or educational experience to improve themselves by gaining knowledge and skills in various fields;
- Provide scholarships and financial assistance to deserving recipients; and
- Encourage students and staff to contribute to the community either as individuals or in groups such as via the various clubs and societies within the college.
For Organization:
Constantly remind members of our organization that we are a learning institution that is dedicated towards continuous improvement and achievement of the highest level.
