RULES & REGULATIONS
- The distribution of unauthorized circulars and literature on the college premises is forbidden.
- The college is not responsible for any loss suffered by the student, irrespective of whether his/her own negligence has contributed to the loss.
- Any items lost or found should be reported to the Principal.
- Indecent behaviours are prohibited.
- Students need to demonstrate self-respect at all the times.
- Students should be punctual for all classes.
- To be self-provided of all material that is used in the class.
- Not to disrupt any class that is in session by being noisy inside the class or outside a nearby class.
- The management can take any necessary action, which is deemed fit, against any student who misbehaves or interrupts a class which is in session in an unbecoming fashion towards the lecturers.

Dress Code For Full-Time Hotel Management Students
All full-time hotel students are required to wear uniforms at all times while on College premises and during examinations. All full-time students are required to abide the following dress code :
Hotel Management Student
Male
- White long-sleeved shirt
- Dark grey long pants
- Dark blue jacket
- Black shoes
- College tie
Female
- White long-sleeved blouse with collar
- Dark grey knee length skirt/pants
- Dark blue jacket
- Black shoes
- College tie
Dress Code For Full-Time Secretarial Students
Uniforms
- Designed and specified by the College for students. This would include the skirt, blouse and jacket with the college badge.
- The skirt should not be more than two inches above the knee line.
- Panty hose to be worn by students wearing skirts and slit maxis. Panty hose must be skin-tone colour.
- All students are required to be in full uniform at all times within college premises and during revision classes and tutorials unless special permission has been granted by the lecturer in-charge.
Shoes
- Only black court shoes allowed.
- Shoes must be polished.
- Heels - 1.5" up to 2.5" maximum (no fanciful heels).
- No sandals, slippers or open front shoes allowed.
Dress Code For Other Students
Male
- To be neat and presentable whenever on the premises.
- To observe the Monday "Professional Day Wear" by wearing a long sleeve shirt with tie, and pants.
- No T-shirts with printed indecent language/words/visuals.
- No shorts, singlets or sleeveless T-shirts.
- To refrain from using earrings and any form of facial or body piercing which does not reflect your culture.
Dress Code For Other Students
Female
- To be decently attired whenever on the premises.
- To observe the Monday "Professional Day Wear" by wearing proper pants, skirts, blouses, dresses or cultural dressing.
- Not to be dressed in skimpy items of clothing which exposes the body such as blouses or T-shirts with spaghetti straps; showing bear mid-riffs and low neck-lines.
- No T-shirts with printed indecent language.
- No short skirts, shorts, singlets or sleeveless T-shirts which is indecent and does not reflect our culture.
- To refrain from any form of facial or body piercing which does not reflect your culture.

Student Attendance |
- Students must have a minimum of 70% attendance for all subjects (including the days on medical leave) or will be barred from all exams for subjects affected by this ruling.
- This applies for lectures, tutorials, workshops and practicals.
- Students who are late by more than 10 minutes for any class, can be marked ABSENT by the lecturer.
- All appeals for leniency will be dealt with by the lecturer concerned only or the school coordinator. The principal office will not entertain any appeals.
- If a full-time student is not able to attend class on time, a letter from his/her parent or guardian is required.

Student Computer Lab & Library Rules |
- The computer lab facilities can be utilized only by students with a valid student registration card and updated fees payment.
- In the event of a student not occupying his/her terminals after 15 minutes of the booking time, the time slot will be given to the next student.
- All lab users MUST sign in and sign out on the time-sheet provided. The machine utilized must be the machine allocated by the Lab Tutors.
- Students are only to utilize the terminal assigned to them. No change of terminal is allowed without prior permission from the Lab Tutor.
- Students are allowed to bring only their files into the Computer Lab. Personal belongings should be placed in the allocated area. Students are not allowed to place their bags in the computer Lab. Students should take care of their own belongings. The college will not be responsible for any loss of students' belongings.
- STRICTLY NO PERSONAL DISKETTES ALLOWED. Every diskette that is used in the lab should bear the college's authorized stamp. Students will be suspended if any personal diskettes are found and the diskettes will be confiscated. This is to ensure that PC in the labs are not contaminated with virus.
- Personal diskettes should only be used in the specifically allocated PCs in the Lab.
- All student diskettes bearing the authorized college stamp should not be used in the above mentioned PC.
- Students' diskettes bearing the authorized college stamp should be kept by the lab tutor.
- SILENCE MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES. Any essential discussions must be held discreetly.
- Computer paper is only available for students to print their documents.
- All students are required to observe the colleges dress-code while accessing the Computer Lab facilities. (Sandals/slippers, shorts and caps are not allowed in the Computer Lab.)
- Students found misusing the computer papers supplied will be suspended.
- Students are allowed to use all software installed in the computers. If any student changes the setting of any software, he/she must change the setting back to the original position before leaving the Computer Lab. Failing to do so will result in the student being penalized.
- Students are not allowed to install any software without written approval from the college Management.
- Students should utilize the Internet services for educational purposes. They are strictly not allowed to access censored materials and negative information.
- All students should store their documents in their own diskettes to avoid loss of data. The college will not be responsible for any loss of data in the computer hard disk.
- Students are not allowed to copy any of the college's software.
- Bringing in tape recorders, radios, mini walkman or any other sound equipment within the College premises is not permitted without authorized permission.
- Each student must at all times present his/her registration card for checking by the Librarian/ Lab Tutor.
- Text books other than the library texts and bags are not allowed in the library.
- Handphones are not allowed in the library and computer lab.
- No food and drinks allowed in the Lab and library including chewing gums and sweets.
- Unauthorized computer games programs are prohibited. Students caught playing such games will be suspended and the diskettes will be confiscated.
- Students must submit their registration card before using any of the College facilities. Any student who fails to do so will not be allowed to use the Lab facilities and the library.
- Students MUST use English Language to communicate in the Lab. Failing to do so will result in the student being fined RM1.00.
***ANY STUDENT FOUND INFRINGING THE RULES AS STATED ABOVE WILL BE LIABLE TO SUSPENSION FOR 2 WEEKS OR MORE.*** |
Examination Code & Practice |
- All entries for examinations open on Week 3 and close on Week 6.
- All appeals for late entry must reach your school coordinator by the above-stated period and an extension date will be announced to students.
- Parents of students are invited to meet the Principal for any arrangement pertaining to late payment.
- Penalties will be imposed for late entries.
- All students applying for loans must settle school fees and exam fees first and a refund will be given after the loans are paid to the college.
- A student who does not comply with the rules will face the risk of not being permitted to sit for exams.
- During examinations, all students must have their dockets. Failure to have the docket will result in the student not being permitted to sit for any exams.
- Student making an entry for examination by on-line are required to closely follow the rules and steps stated below:
- Student's name (first name and surname) entered on Examination documents should be the same as in NRIC or passport.
- NRIC No. and the Batch No. /Intake No. should be written on Examination entry form correctly.
- Student should pass at least 3 subjects from their previous examinations.
- Examination payment can be made at respective centres.
- A fee will be charged for issuing a replacement certificate due to incorrect details.
***Students are responsible for the accuracy of their entry details. They are advised to check and sign once details are in order. The college will not stand liable for inaccurate information.***

Student Fees Code & Practice |
- There shall be no collection of funds for any purpose by whomsoever on the college premises without written permission from the Principal.
- The computer lab facilities can be utilized only by students with a valid student registration card with updated fees payment.
- The dates on which fees are due will be stated on the Admission Card. The fee shall be paid on the specified date. If that day happens to be a public holiday, payment should be made on the following day. Penalty of one Ringgit (RM1.00) per day will be imposed if paid after the due date. Receipts are issued for all fees paid.
