A J Shawcross Prize awarded to Cik Zuraidah Osman for Best IAM Diploma Case Study 1 Paper  by IAM, UK

Zuraidah Osman, who is 33 year old is a  Secretary in a legal firm has won The A J Shawcross Prize, for the Best Diploma Case Study I paper in the international exams, awarded by Institute of Administrative Management (IAM), UK.  The award represent great achievement as her work reached the extremely high standard necessary to become the recipient of this award,

With about 10 years of work experience and much of it as a secretary, Zuraidah realised that she had to upgrade herself if she wanted a promotion.  Now after winning the best student award, Zuraidah who completed her PSC (Private Secretarial Certificate) many years ago, feels that joining the IAM programme at Olympia College has been fruitful.

She said that her thinking skills has developed immensely and that what she has been learning so far has been very practical and related to her job functions.  Her advise to other students who wish to secure similar awards is to be aware of current happenings in various organisations as this general knowledge gives an added advantage to help a student do well in their exams.

The Leonard W Green Prize awarded to Ms Krishnaveni Alagarie for Best IAM Advanced Diploma Case Study 2 Paper  by IAM, UK

Krishnaveni Alagarie who is 26 years old is a Secretary and is attached to AmMerchant Bank Berhad has won The Leonard W Green Prize for Best IAM Advanced  Diploma Case Study 2 Paper  awarded by Institue of Administrative Management (IAM), UK.  After completing her PSC, she realised that she needed a programme which will lead her to complete a degree. 

Krishnaveni admitted that although she has 8 years of work experience she was not exposed to administration as the secretarial qualification provided her an important overview but after many years of work experience, she needed something to help her get a promotion. With the IAM she realised that there is so much more to be learnt and says that she has improved greatly in her job functions and has acquired leadership qualities.
