Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin Bin Bahari

Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin aged 70 holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Malaya in 1960 and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh USA in 1970 Upon his graduation, he joined the Malaysian civil service in 1961 where he served more than thirty years and his last position held was as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence.
Upon retirement in 1992, Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin was appointed as Chairman of AIROD Sdn Bhd. Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin then joined the OCBC Board on 13 November 2000 and last re-elected as a Director on 30 March 2005. He is presently Chairman of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Affin Money Brokers Sendirian Berhad and Sumber Petroleum Cemerlang (SPC) Sendirian Berhad.
Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin is also a Director of several companies, including Lingkaran Transkota Holdings Bhd (LITRAK), The Pacific Insurance Berhad OCBC Bank (M) Berhad, OCBC Credit Berhad and Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, Singapore.
Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Nasruddin has lately been appointed as a Director of R. B. Land Holdings Bhd and Chairman of Garisan Ethika Sdn Bhd.

Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Yahaya Ibrahim completed his MSc in Elementary Science Education and Ph.D in Education majoring in Educational Supervision and Staff Development at Southern Illinois University, Illinois, USA. He pursued a Science Education Diploma from the University of Reading, United Kingdom after completing a Teachers’ Certificate at Kirkby College, University of Liverpool in United Kingdom.
Y. Bhg.Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Yahaya Ibrahim published a teacher’s guide book “Teaching Science The Simple Way” published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and 24 articles on Science Education.
Y. Bhg.Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Yahaya Ibrahim was a Member of University Court, University Malaya, until it was disbanded. He was the Assistant Chief Inspector of Schools cum head of Science and Staff Development Unit of the Federal Inspectorate of Schools, Ministry of Education, Malaysia before his retirement from government service in 1984.
He was a governing board member representing the Malaysian Government in the Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE) and was a Researcher at the Regional Education Centre for Science and Mathematics (RECSAM) for South-East Asia based in Penang. He served as the Secretary of the State Education Board, Melaka and an Elementary and Secondary School teacher and Principal in Melaka.
Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Yahaya Ibrahim had a long and distinguished career first with the public sector and then in the private sector. He is the founding president of two major associations in private education namely the National Association of Private and Independent Education Institution (NAPIEI) and the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU).
Currently Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Yahaya Ibrahim is the Pro-Chancellor of Sultan Idris University of Education in Tanjong Malim, Perak.

Y. Bhg. Dato' N. Sadasivan N. N. Pillay
Y. Bhg. Dato' N. Sadasivan N. N. Pillay is an Economics graduate of University of Malaya. He is an independent Non-Executive Director of several large public listed companies in Malaysia such as Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM), Petronas Gas Berhad, Leader Universal Holdings Berhad, APM Automotive Holdings Berhad, Malaysia Airline System Berhad, Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad and Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Berhad. Additionally he is a Director of Bank Negara Malaysia.
Y. Bhg. Dato' N. Sadasivan has served as an Economist in the Economic Development Board, Singapore, and on the Economic Development Board Singapore, as Chief in the Industrial Facilities Division in the 1960s. In the 1970s and 1980s he was the Deputy Director-General of the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) and served as Director General in MIDA in the 1980s to 1990s.

Colin Felix Pereira,JP
Colin Felix Pereira, a lawyer by profession from the University of West England and a barrister-at-law from the Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn, UK and is qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor from the High Court of Malaya. Colin also holds a Master of Science in Business Leadership from Nottingham Trent University.
Colin Pereira started off his career as a Group Administrator, Stamford College Group in year 1990 and subsequently became the Director of Corporate Affairs. While practicing law and upon the sudden demise of his elder brother, the late founder, Mr Winston Felix Pereira, he was requested to spearhead the Raffles Education Group.
He is currently the Chairman of the Raffles Education Group comprising: Olympia College (Malaysia); Raffles Academy (Singapore); Knowledge Universe (Malaysia); WEC-Nottingham Trent University with learning centres in Korea, Indonesia and Hong Kong. He was also the Deputy Chairman of the National Association of Private Education Institutions of Malaysia (Selangor Branch) and is the current President of the Kuala Lumpur Home Nursing Service Association.
In 1991, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for Contribution towards Education and Training in the Hotel Industry by the Malaysia Food and Beverage Executives Associates (MFBEA) and the Malaysian Association of Hotel (MAH).
In June 2000, he was elected as an Honorary Member for the Rotary Club of Titiwangsa, Malaysia and in the same year was conferred 'Justice of Peace' from the state of Malacca. Two years later, he was awarded the District Governor's Significant Achievement Award – Rotary International District 3300 and also the Paul Harris Fellow - Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
He was awarded the National Entrepreneur Award 2006, by the Malaysia Indian Business Association (MIBA) for his outstanding performance.

Sydney Pereira
Sydney Pereira, a graduate from University of North London, UK majoring in accounting commenced working at Stamford College, upon his return in 1990 together with his eldest brother and mentor. He is also a graduate of Master of Science in Business Leadership from the Nottingham Trent University, UK.
It was a culmination of varied experiences and studies that nurtured the interest of education which turned into a passion.
In 1995, Mr Winston Pereira and his siblings set up the Raffles Education Group and Olympia College. Upon the demise of his eldest brother, the Founder, Mr Winston Pereira, Mr Sydney Pereira learnt to be goal orientated with the training provided by the Founder, and carried on to bear the torch together with his family left by the late Founder.
With the drive to expand the business, he took it upon himself to set up Imperial Consulting in partnership with the American Management Association which today provides training and development to local and international corporations. He looks upon himself as a 'trainer' as he strives in believing that, the people can be trained, no matter what background they come from. He takes pride in driving people to higher planes and advocates that one must have patience, empathy and in-depth understanding, in our attempt to change and mould people for the better.
His speciality is in start-ups for profit education and training institution the Asian region and nurturing potential leaders to take the companies to further heights. Companies involved are Olympia College Malaysia, Raffles Academy Singapore, Stamford College Bangkok, Imperial Consulting Group/American Management Association in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and India.
A strong believer in motivation, he endeavours to walk-the-talk by spending time with his team whenever he can, sharing and parting knowledge in a subtle manner. He is known for good time-management and believes in planning before delivery which he takes from the classroom to the work place. He enjoys creating a difference in the human resource culture within the organisation, irrespective of the group he addresses, that is, a balance of profit orientation, positiveness, changing mindsets with a sense of social responsibility.
In line with the Mission and Vision of the Group, he is committed towards ensuring that the College is the preferred regional college for employment of qualified graduates. He acknowledges that the whole organisation is made up of various people, of which each and everyone must be accorded due respect. His simple motto in life is "Whatever you give to life, it gives you back."

Kevin Pereira
Kevin Pereira obtained his Degree in Computing Information Systems from the Indiana Institute of Technology, USA and his MSc in Business Leadership from the Nottingham Trent University, UK.
He started his career in education as a teaching assistant in the USA during 1980s and has held positions as Lecturer, Head of School Principal and currently Director in various boards such as Information Service Corporation USA, Natserve Computer Associates, Olympia College, Raffles Education Group and Global Learners Network. He is also serving as an Executive Director in Olympia College, where he is responsible for its expansion and growth activities.
He was a member of the pioneer team at Olympia College and is a testimony that the rapid expansion of the college from the first campus in 1995 to its six campuses by 1999, was purely based on enthusiasm and commitment to classroom delivery and student participation.
He was personally responsible for the setting up of two of the campuses - Johor Bahru and Petaling Jaya and affirms that bricks and mortar do not make an institution but the way the young minds in the classroom are encouraged and moulded that is the true reflection of a good college.
His achievements in Olympia College also included setting up and developing guidelines for syllabus instruction and creating a database of academic resources. This was widely used in the training and development of staff, and has set the academic framework within the college. Working closely with partner universities further enhanced the academic quality and standards of the institution.

Jean-Francois Jadin
A Belgium national, Mr Jean-Francois Jadin holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Information Systems from the University of Namur. Jean-Francois started his career with Apple Computers as a trainer. He subsequently became an international trainer, traveling in over 30 countries across all continents, delivering over 150 seminars. He conducted an organizational audit of STC in London and of a large government hospital in Paris, for which he was awarded the ISCEA Foundation Prize.
In 1992, he arrived in Malaysia and joined the Stamford College Group’ School of Computing to later join the pioneer team of the Raffles Education Group and head its School of Computing. In 1995, he became General Manager of Raffles Training Centre, the corporate training and development division of the Group. In 2000, Raffles Training Centre was incorporated in both Malaysia and Singapore under the Imperial Consulting brand, with Jean-Francois serving as its COO and later CEO. Based in Singapore, he shuttles between both offices.
Jean-Francois is a Director of the Malaysia Belgium Luxembourg Business Council and Deputy Chairman of the European Union Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also chairs the Academic Boards of the World Education Council and the Raffles Education Group.
With Imperial Consulting now representing the American Management Association and Harvard Business School Publishing in Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Australia, Jadin sets to himself to tap on AMA world class learning resources to the benefit of the corporate and public sector in this part of the world. |

Chan Chee Seng
C S Chan holds a BA (Hons ) degree from the University of Malaya and a MA in Education from the University of Reading, UK. He holds professional membership with several professional bodies including the Society of Effective Affective Learning, the International Alliance of Learners and is a Certified Trainer of the American Management Association. Currently, he is member of the World Education Council Academic Board.
C S Chan has been in the field of tertiary education spanning more than 25 years and working exclusively in the private higher education sector.
Amongst the positions he held include Senior Lecturer, Principal, Programme Director, Deputy Director of Studies, Education Consultant, Principal Trainer – Consultant, Director of Studies, Director of Academic Planning and currently holds the position of Director of Research, Training and Development.

Albukhary bin Awang
Albukhary Bin Awang had an early education at Government School and later furthered his studies at George Washington University, Washington DC, USA majoring in Computer Science.
He had received various awards and honours during studied at George Washington University including Dean’s List, Norman B. Ames Award (Distinguished Scholar who has served the University), Engineers' Council Award (The best council member of the year in George Washington University, USA).
He had been elected as The President of Malaysian Student Association, George Washington University, U.S.A. (1987), elected as The Manager, Engineers' Council, George Washington University, U.S.A (1987) and elected as Junior Representative, Engineers' Council George Washington University, U.S.A (1987).
He has been working in Corporate Planning, Information Technology and Marketing as well as Business Development for more than 20 years. He has been working for both Local and International Companies including GWU Medical Center, United States Of America, ABL Group of Companies, SISMA Group of Companies and several other private companies.
He has been appointed by the Government to develop the IT Master Plan for the whole development of the PUTRAJAYA to becoming the Intelligent City.
He has experiences in services related to Engineering (Electrical, Electronics & Power), Telecommunications and IT solutions which include Consultancy Services, Project Management, Engineering and Infrastructure Design.

Noor Azmy Bin A. Zakaria
Noor Azmy Bin A. Zakaria has collected vast experience in Business Development and Planning as well as Marketing and Business Development having working for more than 25 years.
Through out the period, he has been one of the key personnel providing advices to the Board of Directors with regards to the overall planning. His contribution has also been in the perspective of promoting and advocating the company and the stakeholder in view of the change related to the mission/vision of the company.
Noor Azmy has being one of the top management personnel who always deliver supports to the organisation in terms of motivation towards the effectiveness and productivity of the employees, products, programmes and also from operation point of view.
Among his many current responsibilities to the organisation are ensuring staff and Board in having sufficient and up-to-date information. Apart of his responsibility is to constantly look out for the opportunities to improve and grow.
His involvement in the organisation also includes formulating policies and planning recommendations which will be forwarded to the Board of Directors, offers recommendations, supports the Board directives during orientation and evaluation.
As a valuable asset to organisation, Noor Azmy is also responsible to address all the company’s impediment which is specifically focused on matters related to government.
Noor Azmy also holds a top management position in several other companies. Among those of his prior and present positions are being the Executive Chairman of Wilayah Muara Sdn Bhd whereby the company involve in construction works and also being the Executive Chairman for the Mutiara Dominasi (M) Sdn Bhd. He was also the Executive Chairman for BSC Elevators Sdn Bhd.
Noor Azmy is a Chairman for both Cendor Cukai Trading Sdn Bhd which deals with Petronas pipeline and also for Silver Hi-Tech Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. He was the Project Director for Regent Malaysia Sdn Bhd; which is also a construction organisation. Noor Azmy is also one of the Directors of Olympia Technologies Sdn Bhd.

Engku Mohd Shukri
Engku Mohd Shukri graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom in with an honours degree in Accounting and Finance. He started working with a multinational company in Petaling Jaya as trainee accountant.
Later, he joined Pharmaniaga Berhad in Group Corporate Services Division. He specialises in the treasury and collection matters. He was responsible for the monitoring of the cash flows of the group, the collection team department and other accounts receivable functions.
Before joining Olympia College in 2008 as the Finance Manager, he was the Head of Accounts Department of a Biotech company with a Bionexus status and was responsible for the full range of finance and accounting function. He was involved in getting the Seed Grant from the government via Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation. |
