Fund Raising for Orientation Ball 2009

The time of the year has come again and students and staff are working hand in hand to generate funds for the Orientation Ball 2009. There were various activities such as car wash, food fair and others planned by the students of Olympia College, Kuala Lumpur to generate funds for the Orientation Ball 2009.

According to the Principal of OCKL, Brian Param –“Orientation Ball is an event by the students and for the students”. Students organize the funding with support and guidance from the staff members.”

This year, the Orientation Ball is chaired by Vishali Vadebonia and Sahaya Sharon and they were assisted by the various lecturers in the centre namely Sureshmen, Nurul and Justina. Students usually are able to achieve the feat and this year is no different. The Orientation Ball is scheduled on the 7th of August 2009 at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

Brian added “I’m proud of the commitment and rigor put in by both staff and students to help raise funds to help bring this event to a roaring success. It is nice to see team work, dedication and commitment displayed throughout the entire build up to this event. Staff and students started as early as April 2009 to start planning for this event.”
