Deepavali Get Together at OCKL

With the theme of 1 Malaysia, the staff of OCKL had organized a Deepavali get-together on 22 October 2009. A total of around 70 over staff members graced this event organized by Mr David Anthony and Mr Somasundram, whom are faculty members at Olympia College, Kuala Lumpur.

The event was supported by various staff of Hindu and Indian background who made up the committee.

Mr Sydney Pereira, the Managing Director, Mr Kevin Pereira, the Executive Director and management representatives as well as  staff  made time to attend this event. There were also a lot of activities planned for staff to enjoy and unwind. Most notable was the “Best Dressed Saree Contest” and Ms Tahiri was crowned as the winner with runner-ups, Ms Vishali and Ms Parames.

There were lots of delicious food as well as a chance for staff to mingle and interact with each other.  Everyone present had a fantastic time and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The next event in-line with the 1 Malaysia theme will be the X-Mas celebration which is scheduled in mid December. The support obtained from the senior management has made this event possible and enjoyable for all.
