| Course Structure |
The Certificate In Fashion Management Programmes conceived to meet the ever- increasing demand for highly skilled and capable individuals in managing fashion business. However, it is increasingly the case that the cours is also seen as a foundation for further academic or professional study. Thus, the Certificate program seeks to develop the vocational as well as the academic skills required to help students with their future aspirations.
The course is so designed that it covers all the major areas of fashion management, including an understanding of pattern drafting and dressmaking in order that one would possess the necessary repertoire of skills and knowledge to excel in the working world. The main value of vocational study lies in what students can subsequently do and achieve. In order to perform any task in employment, it is essential to possess knowledge and skills for the effective performance of the task. None can be adequate without the other; they therefore demand equal emphasis and integrated delivery.
The Fashion Management program is also designed to prepare students for a successful career in fashion retail store management. The course is delivered through a series of tutorials and practical including case studies. Assessment is through a group project and presentation, an individual essay and a final exam.

Admission requirement into the programmed will be 1 SPM credit and a pass in English and Bahasa Melayu or O Levels equivalent qualifications.
