Course Structure |
The programme has been designed to provide employability to graduates in line with the College’s vision and mission.
The combined studies of core and designate concentration in different areas of management are aimed at making graduating students more versatile for the job market.
The programme provides a progression to higher education in the field of business management through advanced standing arrangements with institutions of higher education, both locally as well as overseas.

Entry Requirement |
- 3 SPM credits and a pass in English or O Levels equivalent qualifications OR
- 3 Bs and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia for UEC qualification

Aims &
Learning Outcomes |
Develops students’ interest and knowledge
of the world of business, including an understanding of
markets and market economies; the structures, and
functioning of business organisations; the dynamic nature of
key business functions and processes; the processes and
outcomes of organisational decision making; the development
and diversity of organisational strategies; and the nature
and role of policies that impact on businesses.
Develops
graduates who in addition to the above knowledge bring, to
their employment in businesses or organisations, a range of
critically important and highly valued key employment skills
and attributes.
The programme also develops the key skills required for
communication and presentation, numeracy and IT together
with the associated cognitive skills of application,
analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

Teaching & Learning Methods:
Highly qualified lecturers will introduce,
reinforce, enhance, and promote ideas and concepts
through lectures, tutorial discussions, work-shops
on business with supplemental aids such as films,
slides, overhead transparencies, videotapes and
audiotapes.
Exemptions:

Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Business Management, students can further their studies in several universities in the UK and Australia with advanced standing either into the second or final year of an undergraduate degree programme.
Students can also further their studies after completing the Diploma in Business Management, in several universities in the UK and Australia through advanced standing either into the second or final year of their under-graduate degree programme.
Special note:
Entry into the second year of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) approved 3+0 degree programmes available through Olympia College.
