Course Structure

The programme exposes students to the expectations of the hospitality industry. Students will be expected to perform to industry requirements in the food and beverage, house-keeping, front office, marketing and management levels upon graduation from this programme. Graduates of this programme would also be exposed to both the theoretical and practical aspects. This would be an advantage during their employment. Graduates who intend to further their studies would find that the rigorous academic structure of the programme, also provides the skills required for lifelong learning.
 

Duration

  • 2 1/2 years or 7 semesters(including industrial placement of 6 months)

Entry Requirement

  • 3 SPM credits and a pass in English or O Levels equivalent qualification OR
  • 3 Bs and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia for UEC qualification OR
  • Certificate in Hotel Operations awarded by Olympia College

Exemptions: 

Diploma:
Students who complete the Diploma in Hotel Management will:-

  1. get an additional internationally recognised Higher National Diploma award from Edexcel International, UK by completing an integrated project. 
  2. also be exempted from the BHMS (Switzerland) Diploma and Higher Diploma
